Why advertise a studio?

You probably already have a social media presence to get people to see your studio. You probably have some regular artists come in every once in a while. But, your studio is probably not flooded with new bookings every week. With how many artists there are uploading to Spotify every day, how many do you intend to work with? If it's more than one, then your best bet would be to leverage the digital space.

About Amplified Audio

At Amplified Audio, we don't prefer to be called marketing experts; just business partners that get the job taken care of. Our journey began and will continue with a simple vision: work alongside studio owners so that they get more work. We currently do this in many ways, but our primary focus is through text & email campaigns to previous artists that you've worked with. This option gets you repeated business without you lifting a finger. Our secondary focus is running Facebook & Google Ads - which generate real leads you can hopefully get in the studio.

Meet the Owner

Payton Nichols-Pittman

Payton started his path of running digital advertising for multiple businesses in August of 2023. Not too long after, he was advised to combine his effort with his passion. Since he makes his own music (going by the name Isaiah Skyy) it seemed fitting to try and help others within the same industry, thus spawning Amplified Audio. Now, alongside his own music career, he makes sure others experience more of what he's passionate about with the highest quality. Why? Because creation starts in the mind but comes to life in the studio.

Why We Exist

Our aim is simple: get more artists into your studio and onto streaming platforms. There are currently 21,631 recording studios in the United States. Spotify has revealed that so far in 2024 there are on average over 60,000 new tracks uploaded every day. With those numbers, shouldn't your studio be overloaded with artists? Most studios can't respond with, "Ours is." It's likely because many of these artists who upload their music are unaware that there is an affordable and professional studio near them... even though they [artists] are spending 7 hours a day online. That's where Amplified Audio steps in. We make sure that they become aware of your studio and get in contact with you as soon as their interest sparks. We do everything we can to make sure they get in the doors and make the industry level music they are striving for, all with your help.

Every Artist Matters

Each experience you have working with an artist in the studio is a world-class opportunity. If they're a veteran, then see it as a test of your skills as a mixing engineer. If it's their first song, then you'll see how well you are at explaining that which is sometimes complicated. Regardless of their skill range, both of them will do the same thing: talk to someone about their experience with you. Our goal is to get as many people talking about your studio as possible. Your skills, persona, and the environment you create will all be taken into consideration by every artist you work alongside. Let's make it count.

FAQS

Why advertise? Isn't word of mouth good enough?

Word of mouth can be good enough, but only if you have (a) an extensive history of quality work or (b) an unusual amount of connections to local artists that you've personally built up. While it's possible to rely on word-of-mouth only, not all studio owners can afford to. Yes, they will likely get a few referrals (which everyone should get at some point), but when monthly bills are steady, the source of provision needs to be steady as well. As much as we all hate commercials and billboards, they work. And the digital landscape is no exception to that. Advertising is a thing that nobody likes in concept but we all love it in day-to-day practicality. No matter what one's knee-jerk reaction might be toward the idea of it, advertising has just consistently shown to be a profitable method of getting plenty of feet through the door, which is why we believe in it.

Can you work with studios that may not be as big as others?

Absolutely. We actually find that those are the studios that benefit the most from our work because they don't see a steady flow of artists coming through the door. We help kickstart the awareness of your studio and then build out a system that keeps your previous artists continually updated with your studio's available times and offers (if you have any) to come back and get some more songs done!

What does a meeting look like?

It's light, I'll tell you that much! You'll meet with Payton directly and he will just walk you through what the whole process is, why it's important, and what it would look like for your studio. Should be quick, informative, and helpful for you to see if this is an avenue you are willing to invest in!

How much does it cost?

We actually don't charge for our services on the front end, only a percentage of the work we do provide you! The details of how this works can be explained more in depth in your meeting with Payton. The reason we do it this way is so that everyone wins in the process.

Do you offer refunds if we don't get results?

This relates to the previous question, but no. The reason being is that we don't actually charge you unless an artist pays you first. The money you put in (if you decide you'd like to run ads) does not go to us, rather it is your advertising budget - we don't see a penny. Since we are paid a backend percentage of every service you get paid for, a refund isn't necessary! If we aren't able to generate you ideal results with the advertisement budget you let us handle, then by all means you can cease to run ads.
